I was married to a cop, and he cheated on me, ALOT! He would stay out until 5am, and say he was drinking with the guys. Yes, I was stupid at the time. But, I did find out he was cheating on me. My question is, do all cops cheat? Have you ever met a cop that wasn't a cheater?

I know many officers who do not cheat. I know many, many federal officers who don't. I have been military myself all my life and the word is the same...... military guys cheat. It is all the same.
If you look at the statistics they show that for the most part people in authority do not cheat. Regardless of what popular folklore says.
It is not the police. It was your marriage and more importantly the man you married. I have worked odds hours and I travel often. I was (and always will be) an Army Green Beret forever. Not in million years would I cheat because I care about my wife. It is being a MAN..... not the job. |

I don't think it's cops that cheat, I think it's men with an aggresive, 'alpha male' mentality. I think a lot of, certainly not all, cops fall under that description. You could make the same claim for big time CEO's, professional athletes and many other professions. The type of person that will cheat, that personality type, will gravitate towards certain careers. |

If the guy is a cheater and happens to be a cop it's probably just a coincidence.
But also, remember, that girls like cops and sometimes there is a temptation there. The hours they keep make it easy for indiscretions. My ex boyfriend is a cop and he cheated on me. |

If man has not cheat yet that is because he has not be seduced long enough. So do not blame on him if he is not initiator since if you be seduced long enough, I doubt that you can stay straight. As man, we need to avoid seduction before it happen. |

Not all. I know some very honest cops. But it's not because he's a cop. It's because he chose to cheat as a human. Cop or not, he still would have done it. |

Probably not all, but most. Being a playboy seems to be part of the job. And not bothering to obey the laws they enforce. Or being polite to citizens.
