From old cop I occasionally rode with- Plain donuts or lightly frosted can be handled in one hand without worries of crumbling or falling like a sandwich or burger. can be dropped 1/2 eaten on seat or dashboard of squad car and wont mess badly, give teeth less trouble than bagels, give quick energy boost and longer lasting than peakier candy bar, can be dropped back in small bag if call comes without worry of breaking, if broken can be picked up with finger and eaten anyway. can be left overnight in car and still be edible next day to maintain blood sugar if shift is extended, minimal smear to mess ticket pad, flashlight or pistol if needed. This also reason to carry in bag behind windshield on motorcycle for snack on road. |

I dont think so since the cops I've seen always go to the chinese and korean restaraunts I dont think Ive seen a cop in a donut shop except on tv |

LOL! Yes , just as much as the general public ; however , they are tired of such jokes and take a rather dim view of both the question and the citizen that asks it because it is a form of disrespect to someone whose chosen profession is devoted to the protection of the common citizen .
