A lot of cops don't like the ticket hungry road Nazi's either. Those guys are always tying up the radio, sheesh.
I always give more warnings than tickets. Stopping and talking to you is the most effective. Fines aren't always necessary.
I only ticket if the violation is serious or your driving record is longer than I can read. |

depends on the mood and the severity of why you were pulled over |

Sometimes... it depends. I've never been pulled over (I think I am lucky for some reason... not tryng to jinx myself though. but I was just cruisin along a 50mph in town where the speed limit is 30mph & I passed a cop pulling out of the shell station, and he didn't bother me. lol. but I did slow down.) anyway, but me & my bf got pulled over once (he was driving) for our window tint. We have been driving our blazer w.the supposedly dark tint for over 2 years in this same town passed 50 thousand cops over time & all of a sudden one cop thinks our tint is too dark. anyway, so some cops are just out to fill their quota, but some are honest and fair (not many though lol)! |

Yes,coppers do let people out of a ticket...but it is verrry rarely.
If it's a lil infraction and if you give them"tons"of respect",they'll let let you out of it.
Don't you watch the new show called
"Speeders"? |

I have been pulled a few times and got no ticket. Once when I was 17 and driving with no license (meaning I never had one) let go with a warning, pulled for having a paper tag in the wrong spot- warning, was spending not that long back on a back road cop was going in opposite direction, he gave a warning flash of his lights but did not even pull me.
My husband on the other hand can not get out of tickets. |

every time I've gotten pulled over I've gotten off with a warning. im just that awesome. but when i do finally get a ticket..only i can take responsibility. it's called breaking the law. some people are too thickheaded to remember that and like to blame cops for doing their jobs. but it takes all kinds to make this world, eh. |

I got pulled over a few weeks ago for speeding. I was so nervous about losing my clean good girl driving record. Plus, I was just plained scared of getting pulled over. I was very polite and answered all the officer's questions truthfully. I was surprised that he gave me a warning. I thanked him. |

Whats the point of pulling you over if I'm just going to give you a warning? I don't give many warnings. If I'm going to risk my life pulling you over, you are going to pay for it. |

Sure, when my department did stats for 2007, 65% of my stops resulted in warnings. |

I won't even dignify the quota comment. In answer to the question, every day. |

yeah I got off not to long ago because I was speeding.
If people didnt break the law then they wouldnt have to worry about getting off by the cops because the cops wouldnt pull them over in the 1st place. |
