I have a tinted license plate cover, it goes with the whole theme of my car. I live in Virginia, will the cops hassle me over this?

Yeah cops do care. It may possibly be a fine and this is something that cops look for to pull people over for.
You might get a $200 fine or
You might get a slap on the wrist for a fix it ticket.
But most likely you will get pulled over at an incontinent time such as when your in a hurry to get to work on time, picking up some girl, or when your driving home with a few beers in your system and your putting yourself at a higher risk of possibly getting a DUI.
You don't want to give cops a reason to pull you over. |

Yes, the charge is Failure to Properly Display License Plate (tinted cover). You can make it tinted, but make sure its clearly visible to the vehicle behind you. |
