Long story short my friend did something stupid I didnt know about and Im wondering if most parking lots have cameras and if they do can they record license plate numbers? Thanxs!

Many parking lots do. Whether or not they can pick up a license number will depend on their location with respect to the target vehicle and the quality of their pictures. |

Many do, or it is actually the stores that have surveillance on the parking lot. If there is a reason for the tapes to be pulled and the car looked for, yes, they could possibly get the license plate number. |

Pretty much all the ones in my area do. My sister is loss prevention (catches people who steal) and she said if they don't catch it, the camera's usually do.
If you know your friends are stupid and make stupid moves, why are they your friends? I hope you don't get dragged down by them. |
