They do not get enough respect, they put on their uniforms and badges day in and day out not knowing if they're going to come home to their families or loved ones, but they still do it! They are the few people on this earth that will be trying to save a life after that person just tried to kill them. Being a Police Officer is a thankless job but these men and woman do it without thanks, praise or mention.

Police get so little respect it isn't even funny.
I have a friend who knew an officer that was considering suicide because he was hated just for being a cop. Not from the stress of the job, just because he was disrespected. That's sick. |

Depends on the type of People. The thugs, don't respect the Officers. Call name, beat on them, challenge them and more. Stun guns are great, because the thugs, get a tazz and it makes them piss in their pants and more. Good for them.
THEN we have the Good People who show total Respect. They give Thanks to the Officers and depend on them when the thugs invade the Good people. All the Police in America needs Respect and they do not get enought Respect. I know there are more Good people then thugs. |
