Do police officers really pull women over to check them out sometimes?

That's pretty funny....he probably was checking you out...my friend and I were driving my jeep one day (it's totally cool...big tires, very noticeable)...and I got pulled over...He said he just pulled us over to look at the jeep...then he talked to us about nothing for like a half hour!! It was pretty funny....

Undoubtedly all men notice women. Some go to greater lengths than others to get a better look.

But its unlikely that an officer did this because if superiors became aware of it he would face discipline. In some places he would be fired.

But then again law enforcement types often think of themselves as above the law.

But more than likely he was doing some kind of cautionary stop, but didn't want to divulge the details. For example there may have been an APB on vehicle like yours. But when he got closer he may have realized you didn't match the description.

If you were speeding, he or she can't usually see through your window as you go by...sit at a stop light and watch people as they drive by. Half the time you can't tell if it was a guy or a girl or what color they are...

Some still do, although in most agencies, this will get you fired, especially if they make some sort of advance. If the officer made a move towards you, and you know the officer's name and/or badge number, call the police agency he is with and explain the situation. If he DIDNT hit on you, it would be best just to drop the issue and forget about it.

In other words, yes, it happens, but no, it shouldn't, and most agencies will not support this behaviour.

If they are doing this, they run the risk of losing their jobs. So it's highly unlikely.

Did you hit your brakes when you passed him? Because I've done that before, even when not speeding, and they pulled me over for suspicion of speeding. I'm sure there are some cops like that, but I think they probably can't tell much about how you look from where they are sitting. To me if they find a girl really attractive, they'll probably let you out of a ticket if you were really guilty of something!

I think that they do. They are men and sometime they might have a little fantasy in there head, if you know what I mean. Maybe they think if they stop the right girl that they will score or get some digits.

Who knows. Cops can be shady and unethical, so I wouldn't put it past him. Maybe you should have asked him if he was checking you out? haha
