Yes, you must be able to spell and read to become a cop... there are lots of background work you have to do (write reports, advise people of their rights, be able to read various criminal and civil codes, etc). So, yes. |

as my great Grandma said to me. "son if you cant do anything else, you can be a cop.
Now that being said there are fine police officers out there truly doing their best to be the public servant they swore to be. If not for them this world would be a much more dangerous place and they should be commended and paid more. Sadly there are lots of officers and very few of them fit that bill. |
