Do you carry around a weapon where ever you go( gun, knife, etc.)?

Out I cary both an AK-47 (My sweet rifle) and a Sig (9mm) and a Garber Knife ...

Inside of our Quarters I carry only the Garber Knife as a utility ...

On Base .. I carry nothing ...

lol .. you see .. even for people like me ... weapons are the story of our lives ... it is mearly a tool we use to achieve something specific .. :-)

The rest of my boys ... they had to carry a firearm all the time .. poor them :-)

No but I am aware. I did have a bunch of stuff in the car once for a garage sale and got pulled over. A friend gave me a box of stuff unknown to me he had a machete. THE COP FREAKED OUT!!! LOL

The majority of the time, yes I do. I pretty much always have a knife in my purse, and I usually have one clipped on my clothing somewhere. I As soon as I either receive my weapons permit or get commissioned, whichever comes first, I will be carrying my gun.

I do not understand people who say they only carry a weapon when they need to. The point of carrying is to be able to defend yourself, or a loved one from death or great bodily harm in an emergency. The definition of emergency is...

I was always terrified of guns....hated them. I have been the victim of violent crime twice in my life. I never considered having a weapon to protect me. Now, I have two sons and I read more and more in the news ... the local news...about attacks. If someone comes in my home, I need to be able to protect my family. My husband and I are going to go and find a gun and learn safety measures and become trained users. It will not be carried with me, but it will be in my home. I pray that I never have to touch it after we are trained in its use other than to renew our skills.

I used to have a Chinese fighting tool,believe it or not,it was my key chain.
Thing weighed a ton.
When i had to go to court(not for me doing something)they took it away from me.
I have an Armour piercing knife now,you wouldn't believe the stuff you can pick up in the gas station or a liquor store.

Lets address this issue,, Unless you are properly trained to
use a weapon no matter Gun- Knife, whatever the implement
or tool is. You stand a 90% chance of having it taken away
from you and used against you,, So please if your going to
look to carry a knife or any other instrument,, get training on
it,,,You sound young,, so I would carry nothing in this situation.

You are only asking for a bad situation to turn into a worse
situation,

If your that concerned take a un armed combat course. learn
self Defence techniques, Great exercise and could just save
your life..

At home, the Win 1300 12 Ga pump is never more than 3 seconds from the ready in my main "sanctuary area". For more discreet "taking it easy around the house" carry, I carry the Beretta Tomcat (soon to be upgraded to the Ruger LCP .380) in a pocket holster, although there have been "OhmygodWTFwassthathidethewomenhidethesh... moments where I grabbed the Paraord to investigate.

When out and about, I'll carry either the Paraord Warthog, my Smith and Wesson 637, or the afformentioned Beretta Tomcat. I'm never without my pocket folding knife, either.

When firearms aren't allowed, I always try to be prepared... here's a little tip: Fire Extinguishers contain an irritant and have a range of a little over 10-15 feet. After the extinguisher has been discharged into the face (*and eyes) of an attacker and if they haven't broken off agression the fire extinguisher can could be used as one hell of an effective bludgeoning instrument.

As for work (*one of those useless and ineffective "gun free zones"), aside from fire extinguishers, I have my pocket knife, a radio with a coiled microphone cord and a key retractor (handy garrotes), plus the myriad tools at my disposal should lives suddenly depend on self-defense.

I keep a folding knife and brass knuckles on me whenever I'm outside. If I'm going to or coming back from work I also will have a foot long rusty roofing nail. I'm going for my CCW in a few weeks then on top of all that I'll be carrying my handgun. I'd carry it showing but there are many schools in my area and I don't want to get arrested because of the joke theat is a gun free zone.

Yes i do and i have a permit to carry it to as i have a stalker' and the police said i need protection..It is only a 22 that i carry' as i keep the magnum 44 at home.I wish it was like ys ago where you could leave your doors unlocked and windows opened' but it's not' and when i come in from work the first thing i do is make sure' all the doors and windows arelocked.we had a burgeler in out house in the daytime and i shot him.I did not kill him as i only wanted to stop him and let him know that this is my house and i have a child here also' and if you come again you will be going out in a body bag next time .sad but true.

Yes, I usually carry 4-6 pistols, several shot guns, rifles, and many many knives... I live in Texas though, so it's OK.....

I have a small pocket knife, (blade under 4 inches), and I also have an off duty CWP but I rarely carry unless I know the area which I have to be in has a high crime incident reputation,(not just drunks, public intoxication, vandalism). Your most effective tool that you carry on you at all times is your mouth, usually you can talk a person down/reason , and then if that doesn't work I'm trained in close quarter, hand to hand, take down techniques.
