I dont feel guilty even when I have done something. |

I think it is like being called to the office at school even if you know you haven't done anything. For me it is more of a fear that something has happened to my family if I see a police officer coming to my home. |

Yes - I do! I even try to walk past them in a non-suspicious way.
God knows why!! |

Peyman

No. I used to feel guilty, and I don't know why. |

Yes, it is the guilt complex for all the things I have done |

Yes, when I am driving, but I do not know why.
A police car behind me and I really get panicky! Do my break lights work etc!
Maybe it is just a case of being overly correct - which is not a bad thing, is it?
By the way, I see a police officer on a regular basis and he is a good friend of ours - still doesn't change things, though!
Maybe we all have a skeleton in the cupboard that we are not even aware of. |

A little bit of anticipation, but not guilt. I have a few friends that are cops, and I love them to death. They're great people who are just like me and you. LOL, plus I work by them everyday. I'm an EMT, and paramedic student. They save my butt, I save theirs! |

No! I was confused as to why they woke me up from my nap after only having slept 15 minutes.
Though, It was under the trainstation 4.30 during the morning (You see, the pub closed, and I decided to wait an hour for the next train).'
Though the female officer was kind of cute. I bet that's why I couldn't get a coherent word from my mouth! Har har! ;) |

No! Why should I feel guilty if I have done nothing wrong? |

No, why should i? try saying Hello, i often find most Police officers acknowledge you when passing. |

I think police offers make a lot of people nervous for no reason. I get nervous when I get pulled over for a traffic ticket. I don' know why but I do. Maybe because cops think they are God and you never know what they are going to do. |

Yep. Because we're all guilty of *something* even if it's just going 6 miles (or so) over the speed limit.
Funny thing is that is what I've wanted to do forever. |

Maybe when I was 15 years old....but then again...I did a lot of naughty stuff when I was 15.. |

No not at all. Why feel that way if you have nothing to feel guilty about? |
|

no i know i have done nothing wrong. they need a reason to stop me so i watch what i do and make sure car is registored, inspected and watch my speed. |

I don't feel guilty, but I automatically check my speedometer. :-)
Unless we're all stopped at a traffic light... then no feeling one way or the other at all.
Now, in the past, when drinking an I.B.C. root beer, THAT would make me feel guilty. It's just root beer, but it is packaged in a dark brown bottle with a long neck and looks just like a beer bottle. Do you know which ones I mean? So, I just don't drink I.B.C. root beer and drive. I drink Mug root beer, instead. ;-) |

Security guards can sometimes make you feel a little uneasy. The worst are the ones that follow you all over the store - and even virtually breathe down your neck!
They want to start spying on the REAL shoplifters rather than follow innocent people around! |

I'm not sure i feel guilty, but when i'm driving i'm very conscious if a police car is behind me, |

No way, I even like to chat with one once in a while just for fun. I think its cool. |

Not at all. I pay a lot of taxes, and police are just one aspect of the public life that I employ. If you ever take the time to get to know some of your law-enforcement officers, you find most of them are really good people trying to do a very difficult and stressful job, and for a relatively low salary. |

Yes & I am one!!! If there is a police car behind me whilst I am driving, despite having full insurance, mot, etc. etc. I still feel guilty - about what I haven't got a clue!
I try to avoid looking in the mirror at work too - then I don't feel too guilty! |

No, but there's no nastier feeling than when you see a cruiser behind you cause you know that guy's probably checking for something to be wrong with your car for reason to stop you....I'm not like that....I have it out for 10 mile-over speeders, I love the chase....No fun to go after sitting ducks..... |
