Do you hate cops ?

I was arrested once and treated like sh*t for something so stupid but I still don't hate cops. Every cop (other than these *ssholes) I've ever encountered have been nice and fair and courteous and helpful so I can't say that I hate cops. I actually have a lot of respect for them.

People are sheep. They hate cops when they get a ticket or when they bust THEIR kid...

But man, wait til something goes wrong and they LOVE the cops then.

I love cops. My soulmate's a cop. People just don't like being told what to do or held accountable for their mistakes. Here's my message to cop-haters out there: The next time you're in trouble, call a crackhead.

oh i always wanted to know why some people hate cops so much. i like them-they're just doing their job, for the most part. except for the few who abuse their power and give the good ones a bad rep.

Most cops are good folk. In any team, there are always 1 or 2 bad apples.

I respect the uniform and what it stands for but am also very cautious of the individual.

All to often, an officer comes on too strong when there is no need (by my experience). But they are doing their job, which is often very dangerous.

God bless the keepers of peace. They put their lives at risk every day.

I am 18 years old and i for one do not hate cops. I un derstand why most people in my age bracket hate cops...because we're young and dumb. But the truth is that some cops do take their authority a bit too far, sometimes way too far (i.e. Rodney King). But the other side of the spectrum is that cops are hired to look out for peoples safety and well being and that is it. This opinion may be biast, considering that i am actually going to school to be a cop, but i feel like i've balanced it out nicely. Thats my 2cents. Later.

No i do not hate cops. in 1985 my family home was on fire. i was 9 at the time and it was an officer who pulled me to safety. the man saved my life. I know there are some officers out there who are not the best, but i find that 99.9% of them are good decent people who do care about the people they serve.

Not at all. One time they let me off the hook big time! Trust me, some cops are extremely understanding people and getting a speeding ticket is not a good reason to hate them.

There are two types of people that hate cops, criminals and life's losers. Everyone else either likes and respects what police officers do or have no feelings about them one way or another. There are bad cops out there sure but, the vast majority of them are honest men and women who are doing a very difficult and stressful job that few people who complain about them would have the guts to do.

The ones that let the badge go to their head. That like try to go all hardass when they are writing a speeding ticket.
They are blue collar workers, not some badass in a uniform.

I dont hate cops in general. I hate those that abuse their power or begin to think that they can do whatever they want because they have a badge and power.

I dislike many cops because they defeat the whole purpose of their job. Instead of chasing down the gangsters and murderers, they park on the side of the road (trying to hide in some cases) in front of schools and stuff so they can give out parking tickets and moving violations. That's just BS in my opinion.

I used to say that I did untill I grew up, I just wish they would get off of the damn phone, but no I dont their just doing there jobs like you and I. Although ya sure can have less fun worrying about whether or not your gonna get snagged for something or just worry about the risks involved. plus without regulation of this or that life would end up being survival of the fittest and smartest.

EVERYBODY hates cops. You may respect them but when they're trying to get into your business, you obviously want to punch them. My uncle's a military policeman and he tells me even the soldiers' he's stationed with hate him.... when he's on duty, that is. But when he's not on duty, he's just a typical guy.
