considering the number of americans who speak a second language... I'd say no.

It would help, but I don't think so.

I think if English is your first language and you either spoke Spanish or Ebonics as a second language, you would make a stronger candidate.

In order to become a DEA Agent you need a 4 year degree, and most degree programs require 9 to 12 credits of a foreign language so odds are by default most DEA agents know some foreign language to some extent.
