Quite the opposite, I feel safer. An excellent tactic I do if I feel an officer is trolling for a certain profile is literally stop my car and let them pass. I never get tickets. Understand that most cops have no more than a HS education. If they do pull you over, better to speak slower and more deliberate and spell things out for them.
Tricks of the trade is most tickets are for speeding, so never drive in the fast lane on a freeway, never lead or be in front of cars when speeding. If you are speeding, be the car behind the speeder and give them distance and always look for police while driving. Police look for the fastest car to pull over and rarely pull over more than one car at a time. 2-3 weeks before holidays, they are out in force giving tickets to try to make the holidays safe. On regular roads, if you are speeding, never be the car in front. Always be behind and do not tailgate. Drive safely. The police look for the worst violators and if you are not there 90% of the time, the ticket will go to someone else even if you are violating the law. |

No, not really. We pay for them to look around, to be a little suspicious of people. I know I've done nothing wrong, so I don't worry.

sometimes. Depends on which dept they are from. Here in Vt the town cops if they stop u and u don't act act off will likeley ask u to slow down or watch signs. The state troopers are ticket happy ( probably on Quota )

If you haven't done anything wrong and are obeying the traffic laws you have nothing to worry about. Don't panic just drive normally. He/she just might be doing a random plate check on your vehicle and checking your driving status. |
