For me, its a job, where I dont hate to go to, thats the first time I can say that. You should do ride alongs with your local police department's. If you like riding along for free, you probably wouldnt mind getting paid to do the same thing haha. I love my job really, very little supervision, and you get to use your judgement. Busy days go fast...on slow days, there is always something/someone doing something wrong. |

Depends on where you are and your personality. for some people it is a great job and others it is horrible. if you find the right place you can be on boats, motorcycles, snow machines, four wheelers, or in a car. keep in mind the job does require dealing with the worst of people. |

Depends where you work. If you're a police officer in a rural town of 1,000 people, it could be pretty dull. If you're a police officer in LA or DC, I doubt you'd have much time to relax. |

Well, not really exciting my friend. See, once you join, you can't look back on it. To be honest, you have to let your soul die because you can not feel any kind of sympathy for people. Some people give up on the job when they have to go to a drive by and see a dead body lying there. When you join the force, you just have to put all of those feelings aside. If you feel like it's the job for you, go for it. |
