Let me see, guns don't get up and decided to go rob or shoot someone. They are not possessed and can't think, walk, or see. So I'm going to go with "b": The people using the guns kill people.
And before anyone tries to argue that having a guns makes someone more prone to shoot, that's not so. There are far too man gun owners in the USA that do not misuse their guns. There would be a whole lot more dead people in the country if that were the case. Knives kill more people with more efficiency than guns. Watching TV would leave you to believe otherwise, but it's not the case. |

The problem with guns are we do not know how to respect them. In a time long ago, guns were apart of life and kids learned from their parents about how to use and respect the weapon. Now it is a status symbol or how tough you are. guns prove something now instead of help to define. |

Anything can kill people. An accidental car accident can kill a person, so does that mean that the other driver is a killer?Or is the car the killer? Yes, guns kill people, and yes, cars kill people, and yes, people kill people. If their wasn't a gun available, another means would be found to kill, by the individual. It all comes down to the person. |

Guns don't have a mind of their own. People do.
The reason I say "stupid people" is because a smart person with the correct training in the handling of a firearm would be less likely to injure someone. The reason I say less likely is because accidents happen even to the best trained person. |

I never heard of a gun getting up off the couch and going down to the mall to shoot somebody by itself. The gun is just the means, but without a human being to pull the trigger, there is no killer. |

people using the guns kill, There are so many people out there that shouldn't have a gun. I have a gun and I know how to use it and yes it's for protection because anyone breaking into my home will be shot I'll ask questions later. |

The documented number of cases of a gun killing a person with out a persons help is zero. Even accidents are due to negligence of a human being. Its funny how many guns get sentenced to death (melting) but those who use them don't. |

People kill people and they use lots of things besides guns. Why is gun violence so prevalent in America seems to be the question to me? Because they're so readily available, because our society is so violent (movies, video games, etc.), because we are callous? There are other countries with violence problems of course, but not among other "world leaders" do we see this. |
