Do you think it's time to parole charles manson?

He's in his 60's, can't harm anyone, no one will follow him.

I think so. He would be out in 6 years for what he did normally these days. It's because of the publicity that he is still locked up and will never get out.

Pancakes
Only if he can rent the house beside yours.

Jessica
Just like he couldn't harm anyone in his 30's? Dude, seriously have a second look at what the man is still talking about. Chucky is nuts and should stay right where he is!

Artie B
You gotta be kidding! The guy is whacked out as he ever was. So no.

death from above

no.
what he did is as unspeakable today as it was when the crime was perpetrated. Tell this to family of Sharon Tate who was butchered and had her baby cut out of her womb with a kitchen knife. Manson told the woman who did that what he wants done and was watching it. Yeah, let him go, maybe he can do something similar again, better yet maybe he can be your neighbor.

If he is parolled, he will not last the day.

No. For anyone who has the mind control to convince people to cut an unborn infant from it's mother, life imprisonment is a rather short sentence. He should have been executed.

Honey, check out what Wiki says about him:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Manson

This is a person who has been violent and aggressive since before puberty. He should never be released.

He should be paroled to Hell

I thought he was dead!

No.

Originally he was sentenced to death.

However, the Supreme Court overturned the death penalty and all death row inmates (including Manson) had their sentence converted to life in prison. The death penalty was later re-instated.

So, had Manson not gotten a lucky break - he would be dead now. He would have been executed a long time ago.

So - No- he should not be paroled.

All 4 of the women that participated in the killing are still in prison as well.

I also think your statement "He's in his 60's, can't harm anyone, no one will follow him" is very very flawed.

NO!!!!! Can't harm anyone? I l know of a lot of offenders who got arrested past 6o years old. Besides, do you want Manson as YOUR neighbor?

It would do neither him nor anyone else any good. They should let him do interviews and write a book though.
