Like any profession, there are the good and the bad.
The problem with law enforcement is when they do something questionable, it makes national headlines. A cop getting arrested is big news... the same thing happens with a plumber, electrician, or a factory worker and nobody cares. |

trooper, maybe it is big news cuz they are a LAW ENFORCEMENT? they are expected to be law abiding by the nature of their job just like people expect medical doctors to cure them of their diseases. but course the world isnt perfect. |

Constantly. However most of them never get caught because they cover for one another. Typical BS response by trooper3316, in law enforcement there are the bad & the worse. Generally when they do something questionable, you will never hear about it. When a cop gets arrested it rarely makes the news. In extremely rare cases where the cop is found guilty, it may receive a couple of paid days off. |

I think just like any profession you take the good with the bad. Police officers are the same...you have a few bad apples, but generally they are good and what they do, they do because they are trying to protect the public. |
