They were either bullys or were bullied when they were young. Either way the end result is the same - if your not one of them your going to pay. |

tbh mate - and i've been nicked a few times - the police are not all bad. Most are just doing a job and if you treat them civilised they treat you well - even when i've been nicked we've had a bit of a laugh about - they're all right really. Think a lot of the G20 lot were just up for a bit of aggro... |

No. My experience with students (I teach high school) who eventually join the police force is that they are guys who believe that rules are a good thing, that they need to be followed or there will be chaos. They have a desire to make the world a better place and feel that enforcing rules will do that. |

That could be the reason, trying to send out a message that there not scared no more, and that they better watch out, but i want to be a police woman, not because i got bullied, because i want to help people, and make sure people don't feel threatened

I think that there are millions of police officers throughout the world and in numbers that high you will find thousands of different motivations, skills, approaches, etc. |

no they shouldnt some do but some of them go becauise they want to have a career in law enforcement doesnt have to be because they were bullied |

I think some do. They hide behind the uniform to bully and intimidate people. Stand up to a bully and they soon back down. |

Not really, a person could become a law enforcer for any reason really, although I will say, it makes it more likely that a person will be interested in law if they are traumatized as a child from ANY event. |

I doubt it, may be they are socially aware and wish to contribute towards society?
Were you the school bully? |

No they specially select people who's heads go all the way up inside those helmets. |

No. I heard someone say this for the first time the other day and thought he was the only one that though this, but I've heard it quite a lot since then, so it must just be a stereotypical view that people have about policemen. |

Yes. But sometimes it's the opposite way around. Some cops were the bullies in school. Then, these kids graduated and they didn't have anyone to push around. So they became cops. |

No...Why would you think that ? Have you been caught doing things you should not? Now your anti-police.
Most Police do their job to protect the community from idiots, even protecting ones that don't like us.
When you grow up you may understand... |
