I dont know but i think he should have to pay for what he did he was learly in the wrong if it was me i would have ran up there you know moats( the runningback) s way faster than any police officer |

I would say that someone should play something on his nose! Like maybe a fist!
It is widely known, however that a lot of Dallas cops are brutal bullies. As far as that goes, it has been my experience that nearly all small town (and I do realize that Dallas most definitely isn't a small town) policemen are prone to be bullies and/or lazy louts who really just don't want to work for a living. |

Do you think people who have no idea what it's like for a cop in that situation, yet feel the need to ignorantly spam their opinions of how out of line he was, should have to work a night shift in a big city?

I always thought harassment was when the cops bothered someone who had broke no law. Running a red light and endangering people certainly constitutes breaking the law.
Should the football player who broke the law work for the medical examiner scraping dead children up off the street after someone runs a red light and smears said children all over the pavement? Not a pretty picture huh? That is what cops deal with everyday because someone felt their "emergency" was more important than following the law. I promise you that had this football player killed or injured someone because they were in a hurry the outcry would be against him. Because no one was killed, idiots seem to think the football player did nothing wrong and everything is fine. What is worse is ignorant people blame the officer for doing his job. |

He didn't 'harass' anyone.
He was wrong in what he did and he should be disciplined by DPD, but there was no 'harassment'.
