This is a very good question and I am interested in the answers. I am going to apply for the border patrol, but I am not sure if it is for me. Right now, it is a bit scary with the war in MX right now. |

I would say so, especially now with whats going on down there with the drug cartels. Plus they have to deal with Illegal Immigrants constantly trying to cross the border. |

Yes.....police officers aren't routinely arrested and imprisoned for catching crooks the way border patrol agents are. |

yes, they deal with some of the lowest of the low people and since everyone they deal with usually already has broken the law, it's dangerous as all hell. |
