The answer is 'NO'. Morally, ethically or legally no government has the 'right' to torture anyone for any reason. On the other hand I would have no problem with putting convicted terrorists in a room, walking up to each in turn giving each their option to give information or not and then marching them out and and shooting them. |

the quick and easy answer is yes - the government's duty is to protect the citizens. The big debate in congress right now is what is defined as torture. It appears some of the democrat members of congress are doing our country harm in order to score political points with the left wing wacko base of their party.
Put yourself in the government's shoes - you have a terrorist with information about the next big attack - what would you do to get that information? |

i don't think torture is the way to go but i do think that a little truth serum wouldn't hurt.those idiots have information that we need to get this war over with and our troops back home.if the government would have used this when the war started. we might have had all the terrorist taken care of by now. |
