Does anyone have a good story about their run-in with the cops ?

So on a summers day, back in the 80's. Me and a buddy worked the graveyard shift at different place's. At the time he was in the market for a used pick-up and had a 7:30am appointment to look at this old Ford F-100. So after work I went with him to check it out. Well he didn't buy it and the Topless bar was open so we decided to have a beer and watch some girls dance. After a few beers (pitchers), I asked Dan what time it was. "8:30"
8:30? We got in here at 8 . . . Holy Shite! We've been in here all Day!
My 1967, yellow, Mercury Cyclone, was parked in front, so we hoped in, lit a joint as we were backing up and headed for home. After 4 blocks, the lights of a multnomah county sheriff was on behind me. So I pulled over, Dan put out the doobie in the ash tray.
"You boy's been Drinkin?" ask the sheriff.
(As I was handing him my vital information) "Well sir, we've been in that bar back there for almost 13 hours. So you could say that we've had a few beers (Around 15 pitchers)."
"And where are you heading too now?"
"We're on our way home to change our clothes and go to work. After we get done fighting with the ol' ladies."
At this point he returns to his cruiser. Dan finishes putting out the joint.
The Officer re-turns after only a few minutes, hands me back my lic., insurance and vehicle registration and say's to us.
"Ok, well you boy's take it easy and have a good evening."

I swear to God this is a totally true story.

this is not mine but my friends ----
they were all drinking and **** in in the woods when the cops showed up so they all split my friends though slid under a cave thing. He actully slept there and the dogs passed him a few times although lucjy they did not catch him. Then bout 4-5 HOURSE later he moved to the tall grass by the edge of the bush but the cops WERE STILL THERE! so he stated to crawl a lil and then he like landed up kneeing his gf in the back cause that is where she was hiding. then they stayed there for an hour or something like makeing out until the cops left at like 5 in the morning and then went home :D

I was speeding in a 1965 Mustang with an expired registration and no seat belts. I saw a state trooper on an adjacent highway and told my friend to video tape him because he was going slightly faster than me. The next thing I know, the cop appears behind me (don't know how he pulled that off) and pulls me over. He sticks his head into my car and starts asking me a million questions about who I am and what I was doing....when I finally get the nerve to look at him...I realize he's my Dad's uncle's son who I never met, but heard about. I said, "hey you're my cousin!" And he said, "yeah and I should bust your 4ss!". He still tells that story more than ten years later.

I was at a party and it was getting loud. I was bored and I grabbed two beers and dipped out. I did not have a car so I walked home I was drunk any way. As I am walking I see a **** load of cops and I though dam I left at just the right time. But one of the cops sees me and stops me. I had a beer in my pocket and one in my hand open held behind my back hoping that the cop would not see it. She said let me see your other hand I dropped the beer behind my back. But it didn't fool her. She had me stand by her car and she took out her cuffs. As soon as I heard snap holding the cuffs to her belt come undone I bolted. I ran through a few backyards and saw another cop so I hid under a pine tree. More and more cop cars kept passing me. I figured it would be good if I could get in a garage or some building that would hide me better than a bush. I had seen a small shed and I quik ran inside I waited for an hour or so and decided it was probably safe I left the shed. As I walked away I saw three cop cars and I dipped under the same pine tree as earlier. Then a cop car came around with a bright light that light up the whole neighbor hood. They spotted me in the pine tree and said to come out or they would taser me. I didn't see any way out of this one so I gave up. They cuffed me and asked why I would run for just having a beer. I told them cause I had a beer. (I am not 21 by the way) Later on I found out that the whole reason there were so many cop cars was because they were chasing a drug dealer. The drug dealer had the same physical description as me.

It was like in 2002 or 2003 , me and the homies had a BBQ, well the park we were at it borders with the Tijuana/Mexican Border it's right in the southern coast in south san diego to be exact, well there's this park and the beach and everything, well we were having a good time when we heard that the little homies were getting into it with some people across the border there's a thin fence that divedes the border any how my lil homies were throwing rocks at them, so when we heard this we had to go , me and 2 other friends had to leave since we were documented as gangmembers, we have records so we left before the cops came sure enough when we left the park about a half a mile I seen the park rangers like 5 san diego cop cars the border patrol and the san diego sheriff, the were with their lights on and the holicopter was above us, with the micro phone they yelled out for us to stop the vehicle, I seen all these cops,border patrol and sheriff cars all blocking us and when we stopped the got off and all of these cops had their guns pointed at us I had a 9mm pointed at my face and the the cops held us and cuffed us up we were detained because their was a fight and someone had been hurt by a rock fight, well we got questioned by the cops and they did a background check on us, to see if we had any warrants, well I did have a record and it came out in the computer but non of us had a warrant so the cops said if we new anything about a fight I told then that we were playing base ball, because they had found bats inside the car so I had to tell them we were playing base ball, well we told them we were on a way to go fishing the good thing my friend had fishing poles in his car, so the cops ended up letting us go, I has pretty scared when I got of the car with my hands over my head and all these cops, and sherriffs having us at gun point, it was scary, but the good thing they let us go

I have a story about sort of running from the cops. I say sort of because they didn't put on their lights or tell me to pull over.

This was when I was in my early 20's. I went to a bar one night, and had about 4 beers. I wasn't tanked but it was questionable if I was over the limit or not. So I'm driving home and I came to a three way stop, as I always did. I stopped really quick then turned, not seeing the cop that was pulling up the intersection. I looked in my rear view and he was turning around in the intersection to head back the direction I was going.

My street was the next block, so I pulled onto the street quickly. My driveway was the first one, so I whipped in and then parked around the back of the house under a low carport like I always do.

I ran inside and grabbed a mixed drink in case the cop came to my door and wondered if I had been drinking and driving. The cop was driving up and down my street really slow shining a spot light into yards.

My neighbor came over and asked if I saw anything strange. What had happened was the cops were looking for two guys in the neighborhood that were suspected of a break in.

I felt stupid and went to bed. lol

well, I was approaching my friend in the hall way at school, and I, as we normally greet each other as a joke, did the Hitler salute to him. He pointed behind me, and I looked and a cop was right there. He was looking at me with a mean / confused look on his face. Although he didn't say anything, I felt akward and scared :P

well i guess you can steal my story.

i went to mexico with some friends. while at the infamous donkey show, the cops arrested us (the cops were drunk) and took us to the ATM and had us draw out all the money we could before they would release us. After we gave them the money they told us to have a good night and that they would be watching us.... that was a very expensive 20 minutes.

Yeah. One particular time, I cut school and was walking home. When I got in front of the poppy store, these cops stopped me, searched me and took my money($30) When I argued for my money, they wound up breaking my hand on the cement and beating me to a spewing bloody pulp. The more I fought back, the worse they beat me. I was only 15 and they didn't even arrest me. They got a call, and left me in front of the store. I couldn't fight the system because I'm black and I lived in Philadelphia(U.S. murder capital.) When your black there, there is no future for you so I left. Statistically speaking, the Philadelphia police department is the largest gang in the U.S. I've had many, many problems with them but that was the worse. If they booked me then, I would be dead by now. You can't beat the system by yourself, that's why I'm Christian so I'm not bound by the law.
Whomever thumbs me down for this, can burn in hell with the cops. This stuff is really real and unless you experience hell on earth, you won't realize how bad it is.
