Yes, you as a UD officer of the SS can become an SS Special Agent. You just complete the SA application. For UD Officers, you need your 4 yr college degree and then you go thru the hiring process like all other SA apps. Yor app may be expedited, but at the end of the day, you will be back at FLETC and Beltsville.

Yes they do. Although, I don't know of any uniform Secret Service Officers that become special agents. There is no reason to hire or not hire a treasury building guard/officer for special agent service. Mostly their form military personnel. A Navy Seal would be more of a special agent. |
