Domestic Violence question?

I live in FL. My wife is prone to violence toward me at times. She told me the another day that our marriage is over and that we'll just live together for the kids sake. She's hit me before, but I do nothing back. If she hit me again and causes physical injury with only the kids present, can I have her arrested? Will the cop take my word for it? or does she have to admitted to injuring me? Thanks

You need to report it to the authorities, No women should ever hit anyone unless it is self defense and the same goes for the man.

I would do a police report, and staying with her for the children's sake is alot worse then you two being apart and sharing custody.

I hope she doesn't hit the kids too.

Go see a marriage counselor, But if it is out of control were it gets physically violent, the best option it to get a divorce.

alright assuming you are serious (just saying some people just post stuff on here sometimes) yes you can slap her with the cuffs on and off to lock up. You see it is usually easier to do so if she left a bruise or something. You see don't feel ashamed bout this because in all honesty you would be surprised how many MEN are the victims of domestic violence. Women can be just as mean. For your own sake I would say it is time to cut your losses and you leave or her. It seems like it would be easier on you, screw living in a false hood, your kids just have to understand (when they are older you could really explain your reasons) but as long as you ain't a dead beat and you are there for your kids I think it is better for you. I have a cousin who has a G/F that wants to always smack on him, I don't know why he sticks around.
