Driving in a car smoking where is the safest place to keep...?

What is the smartest option in the scenario?

If an individual is smoking marijuana in a car (driving) in say a blunt and has a few grams of marijuana on their person. Now that individual realizes since their smoking in the car if pulled over probable cause will be met. Ordinarily if they weren't smoking they would keep it in the trunk because theres no way in the lack of probable cause they could enter the trunk.. In this situation they realize if locked in the trunk if pulled over probable cause will be met and it will subsequently be found.

In a scenario where an individual is smoking marijuana in a car in a blunt and has a few extra grams would it be smarter to keep it on their person? Keeping it in the trunk will result in it getting found because of the odor hence probable cause. So in a scenerio such as this would it be safer to keep it on your person... for hiding purposes or eating purposes?

Option A... keeping it in the trunk

Option B... keeping it on you're person

Since there's an odor in the car your running the risk of PC being met...trunk always seems like the best option but is it in this scenario?

Option D (since there's no option C)- you're screwed either way!! My husband and I were pulled over for a broken tail lite while we were smoking. We lit cigarettes right away and the cops didn't smell the weed at all!! I don't know how, though. The car reeked!!

If PC is met I can search both YOU and the vehicle, so it doesn't matter.

Trying to eat it gets you a tampering with evidence charge as well.

EDIT-

If you are obviously doing it to avoid getting a DUI, MIP or open container ticket it is. Eating marijuana by itself is not tampering with evidence, but if you get pulled over and you are trying to choke it down when the officer walks up then I can and will charge you with that.

I've made similar cases before and gotten convictions. How many times have you personally beaten a tampering charge like that? Probably less than my convictions. Good Luck!

There IS an option C : Slowly push a large nail into you forehead. You will get a rush, not like a THC buzz, but if you do it slowly you'll have time to consider the consequences of your actions - which is what you're NOT doing in the smoking marijuana scenario.

Not only do you need to quit smoking pot, you need to stay away from those that do smoke it and those that sell it. Just by hanging out with that crowd you're sure to end up in prison and most of the doors to good jobs and a useful life will be closed after that.

Your choice. Violate the law = go to jail. It's simple.

How about seeking rehab and quit! If you can't, insert it up your a$$ before they pull you over!

with probable cause they can search you and your car. they can and do have drug dogs so hiding it in your car is out. the dog will react. they will pat you down for contraband, empty your pockets look in you mouth. if you eat it they can charge you with tampering with evidence , which is worse than getting caught with a few grams. tampering is a felony in most states under a certain weight is a misdemeanor. i would say the smart thing to do is only bring what you are going to use with you, keep it in the trunk and don't smoke while transporting. if you must smoke conceal it in you rectum as they do not do cavity searches on the side of the road. and if you are arrested you can hold it until you could crap it out later.

Neither would be the smartest option because the officer would have probable cause to search the entire vehicle including the trunk and the officer will be able to search your persons as well. It would be found either way.

and I'm sorry, but if eating your marijuana is tampering with eveidence, is spilling your beer in public a crime too (as in tampering with evidence)?
