Driving under the intfluence of weed?

I was a much more intensely focused driver when I used to smoke weed. I never violated the speed limit and always paid complete attention to everything going on around me. I quit the dope and started drinking. Maybe I'm just a good driver, because I can't tell you how many hundreds of times that I used to drive back from the bar drunk with no incidents. I can't tell you because I was blacked out and can't remember. I don't drink and drive anymore since my DWI that it took me 25 years to get.

It's still a ticket, but it's hard to proove.
I don't think it's as bad as drinking. Most stoners just drive too slow and cautiously.

I've never heard of a fatal accident that involved pot alone and not alcohol, just some stupid parking lot fenders.

Your question is very poorly written. What do you mean, "how bad..."? Do you mean morally, legally, ethically, or what? Are you asking if you can be arrested, cited, or jailed?

it all depends on your self awareness when you are high. there are different qualities for different people.

You can get a DUI for it, for a mile or a foot. Your license can also be taken on the spot and your vehicle and residence searched for illegal substances and paraphernalia. If you're underage, your parents/guardians can be arrested.

If you are charged with possession and are in a car accident then you can be charged with a DUI..... even if you aren't in an accident it's still bad to drive high, just like it's bad to drive drunk.. Being under the influence of anything affects your judgement and reaction time.

It is irresponsible and inconsiderate if you're driving on public roads. It is also criminal, just as smoking "weed" is also criminal unless you're in a jurisdiction in which is allowed.

Grow up and do not risk your and other's lives by selfishly operating a potential metal projectile on wheels down public roads. It's extremely unfair to think it's o.k. to do this when unsuspecting people will be in your path. Would you want your son/daughter (future or current) to engage in such behavior and risk them being hurt, or worse, make a fatal mistake????

if it is your first time getting high and still get "silly" when you smoke then the cop will probably be able to tell you are high and prove it and you can get into trouble.
but if you can act right when your high, even if the cop knows your high but your acting right, legally they can't arrest you or give you a citation.
so in that case relax and be calm and you'll go home fiiiiiiine

I think it depends on how experienced you are with getting high. If it's rare or your first time, not safe at all. If you are a stoner, then it's probably fine. Check this video.
