I live in the state of Florida, my dad is unemployed and makes me move constantly and switch schools, my mom lives on welfare and does same. I have great friend who is 21 in Ohio where i like to live for peers and education purposes.

I was wondering what laws were, or what I could possibly do.

Anything would be great, Thanks ;)

If true what would would I ahve to do for custody to be switched?

Emancipation is for teens who can support themselves. Living with someone else would not qualify.

A court could grant them custody, but only if your parents approve.
