i have been tased by my bro who happens to be a cop. i kinda liked it :) it made my hand feel like it was trying to force my fingers to my elbow when i got shocked on the arm one time. lol. but yeah it takes a while to get used to but it hurts like a betch!

I've been Tasered about six or seven times during training and horsing around. It "hurts" a lot and seizes your muscles up. You can't control your muscles and tend to fall over because of this. The pain is similar to hitting and electric fence but stronger.

I'm an OC Instructor with my agency and I would rather use my Taser on a suspect then pepper spray them. The Taser delivers a five second stun and then it's all over (unless the Officer pulls the trigger again). With pepper spray the stuff stings for 30 minutes or longer, requires you to clean the suspect (and usually yourself off with water), and gets everywhere.

I have Tasered suspects in the field and it works like magic. It takes the fight right out of them. It is great and helps reduce injuries to suspects and Officers because there is less of a struggle to take someone into custody.
