I stole about £30 worth of alcohol once and had a guilty concience so owned up to it a few days later, i took the punishment as it came which was only to pay for the goods there and then and then i was banned from the store for 6 months, but it was a major retailer.
if you are feeling guilty, then own up to it and take the money to them and the packaging for the stolen item, they would much prefer that than having to go through the enigma role of searching for it and any other things they may have to do to resolve it, they may ban you for a while, but if they find out you stole it through CCTV, then police will get involved and a possible criminal record may occurr
best idea is to go to the store and own up to it! |
