Hi I am testing with a large police agency and made it all the way to the final health assessment and psychology exam. I passed everything with flying colors except the depth perception test. The doctor for the police dept. said I need to have a retest with my own eye doctor. If I fail with my eye doctor will that DQ me from the hiring process? I would be destroyed making it this far to be turned away from not having depth perception, when I somehow have lived a normal life and played hockey since I was 8.

You better believe that will be the end of the road and your doctor isn't going to change anything. Playing hockey has zero to do with anything. No depth perception, no police job - end of story. |

if you live in the UK, you can use the discrimination act
because they are not allowed to
you need to be able to see so far, but not as much as people with out eye problems
