Fire Fighters, Police Force and The Military!!? Please Anwser?

Now this is a complicated Question!
Ok when Im 18 years Old I plan On joining The United States Army, and after those 4 years go into college and get a degree in Criminal Justice, from the go in to the Army again and TRY to join the Special Forces, From there I want to be either a Cop Or a State Trooper, but I also want to be a Fire Fighter. From what I have heard An Officer can be a part time Fire fighter and a Fire Fighter can be a part time officer.
Just Like the Police force the fire fighters have their own specialized Units. Do Troopers have that as well? If So what are they? What are the differences between Police Officers and State Trooper what are the benefits? And If you can post any other Info that would be great. Also what is Special Tactics and Weapons and what do They Do? what are there benefits?

Join the military first, then get your GI bill and other benefits and then go to school. While you are at school, I guarantee, your plans may change. Your plans may change while you are in the military. I would focus on what you want to do first, which is military and then focus on other paths that you want to take like SF or Law enforcement. There is so much that you want to do, and there is so many things that can happen to you and your plans in the future. Just start it and see which path it leads you. Trust me, you won't really know until you start to experience your plan in action. Good luck fellow future soldier! |

Take a breath and make up your mind.
You want to enlist in the Army, get out, go to college, get a degree, go BACK into the army, try for special forces (a 90% fail rate there) get out, become a cop and become a part time firefighter.
Pick one thing and do that. |

This is what I'm doing:
college (good start), officer or enlisted Marine Corps (not making a career out of this one), police officer.
About 40ish% of cops are former military I think.
A college degree would be better than military, but military certainly wouldn't hurt. |
