For the last two years I have been receiving calls from 1-702-430-4444, as soon as I pick the phone it hangs?

Call phone company and have tham block that call. I had a similar problem with getting called by a fax machine several times a day.
After a week I called the phone company, they checked into the number and then the calls stopped. Good luck.

tell the phone company... they will trace it... tell them that this is an abusice caller and hasnt stopeed for the 2 years.... they will cut them off from your phone........ taken that person can call you from another phone, but at least theyll stop callin from that phone!!!

Depending on who your phone carrier is, you can block the number from your phone. I would first recommend having the phone company trace the call, for your records. With a record of the calls and times received you my have grounds (depending on the state you live in) for pressing charges for harrassing calls. Check with local law enforcement to see if your state does that.

I just got the same call from that same number. Call the operator and tell them this number keeps calling and hanging up as soon as you answer it. If you get a hold of them the please email me. but the operator can tell you where the call is coming from and will be able to tell you who's name is on the phone bill. when you find that out then if you want call the police and tell them this call keeps hanging up i would like you to find out if its kids playing on the phone see what they say. we had 9 calls from it yesturday 8:00 am till 12:00pm today we have had about 7 calls around the same time and it wakes my nephew up.

Its a telemarketing company out of Florida. Try googling the phone number and you will find that lots of folks get annoying calls from that same number. Don't know what to do about it. I switched numbers and they still found me eventually. Now I use Cell phones only.

Oh come on! It's just Alan Thicke!!! You remember, the dad from Growing Pains?! He just wants you to come to Vegas!! LOL. If only Alan Thicke knew how much people are beginning to get annoyed by his voice. I guess I am going to have to actually listen to the whole recording and get the info I need to call and have them remove me from their call list. Has anybody tried that one? Seriously!?

I have had the same number as well. I never answer numbers like that cause I know it's people just trying to sell something. We're going to have our number changed and unlisted so we won't have to put up with these telemarketers. You won't believe how many times a day they call here. It's so annoying.

That is a telemarketer, I got the same calls that hung up, they are computerized so they usually just hang up, My phone company put a telemarker blocker on my phone for 1.00 a month and they stopped calling. :)

you can punch in the number and find out who it belongs to, and then look and see if there are other numbers you can call to actually get ahold of someone to stop the calls.

As it appears to be telemarketing, you may want to register with the Government's Do Not Call registry which seems to have helped us get less of these types of calls: https://www.donotcall.gov/

I've also heard that when you get those types of calls where there's no one on the other end, you press your # key rapidly for a few seconds and that's supposed to confuse the automated systems they use to check numbers.

Another one would be "Have you filed a police report against this number?" This is considered harassment.
