Well I'm glad you would never buy drugs from someone you don't know---from someone you do know?? Strangers don't talk to me, I don't talk to them, wonder why that is? One look is usually enough to send them scurrying. This conversation would have ended before it started. What are you acknowleding him for? As soon as you answered his first question with a reasonable answer you opened the door for more conversation. If he doesn't get the drift by a death stare and moving faster away from him tell him to fo. pull out a cell phone and dial 911, he aught to be smoke by then.

Just say "No." OR "No hablo ingles." OR "Oh yeah, right. Me and WHAT money?" OR run away and call the police on your cell phone while you're running.

Did he have a gun on you? What do you mean, "He pressured you?" Why did you even have a conversation with a total stranger... especially one that asked you a dumb question, like "are you straight?"

Where were you? Was it night or day? Were there other people around who saw this guy "intimidating" you?

Also, his skin color is irrelevant to your question.

First of all you are going to get a lot of answers concerning that question. the truth is had anyone black or otherwise make an attempt to get you to purchase anything against your will it's wrong. Weather it's crack or a hamburger. Because someone displays anger isn't a excuse to back down from your answer. Always stick to your answer whenever you are confronted with any situation that attempts to force it out of you. The only exception to changing an answer is when there is more information, not intimidation.

Personally I would have told him to go pound sand, but that's me. In your case you probably did the right thing and just played him off long enough to get away from this moron.
I used to be a heroin addict (long time ago) and I vividly remember strangers pressuring me to buy their dope and nobody elses even though I didn't want theirs. I've even had them insist that I owed them money even though I had never meet the fool in my life. I'm glad you didn't buy and won't because od many reasons, the biggest being you didn't commit a crime and didn't get wrapped up in the drug culture. It's dog eat dog. Nobody can force you to buy drugs, but if it ever happens again call a cop ASAP and try to turn the moron in. Chances are he never had the drugs in the first place. He would have probably either just taken your money or sold you garbage that couldn't get a fly high. You VERY likely would have just bought something like baking soda or sugar crystals. That happens ALL THE TIME.
