Gangsters vs. Terrorists?

Gangs sell drugs to citizens, kill people, and scare citizens
Terrorists kill innocent people

Both are bad, then why is only there war on terrorism and not war on gangs?
is it that hard to remove gangs from streets?

legalizing is one solution, though it'll arise more problems. Like keeping your children well cultured will be really hard.

I think punishments should be harsher. People should be scared of even associating themselves with an gang and that will scare new recruits and the gangs won't be able to recruit. The future of all our countries (esp. US and Canada) seem bad with all those druggies out there.

Also, some local gangs are known for supporting terrorists (not for the cause but since terrorists are rich, they pay them).
