Got Parking Ticket, Will This Show Up On My License?

I got a parking ticket today and I'm about to pay it online. I was about to pay for the ticket online when I saw this statement, "The payment of this penalty serves as an appearance before the court. By paying the penalty, I agree to give up my rights to have a lawyer and a trial. I admit that I committed the offense(s) charged and plead guilty." Will this show up my license or my records? If it will then I will fight it in court.

That terminology is fairly standard and is designed to let you bypass the court process. The idea is that if you agree to pay your fine, then are admitting to the violation and simply paying the ticket. You always have the right to appear in court and give your side of the story if you feel it was in error. Most, not all, parking tickets are excluded from driving records if it was a non-moving violation. So expired meters, etc. are usually not recorded on your driving records. Moving violation usually are added to your driving record. Unless you have had many parking tickets or have failed to pay ones in the past, you should be in the clear as far as your driving record. |

a parking ticket is a non moving violation no points go on your license. although it will be on your record big deal just go ahead and pay it |

Normally it only shows up on the police record, when they pull your record. or if you go back to traffic court and have lots of similar tickets.
if you plead guilty and they give you a fine, it is off your record when you pay the fine.
you should be able to go to your secretary of state and pull your driver's abstract. it will give a record of most of all your driving infractions. |
