But I live in Michigan, will points appear on my record? The Cop said Wisconsin doesn't do "a point system" should I just pay it and forget it? or is my insurance gonna know about it

Pay it, it will not show up on your record in Mich. If you don't pay it, however, it will turn up as a warrant and show up when you go register your car or renew your license.
