OK, so i renewed my registration so i could get the sticker that says 2-10. I park my car in a public parking lot, and the other day i came to my car at the end of day and i saw a ticket on my windshield that was for an expired tag. I looked at my tag and my sticker was missing. My question is, if i take this ticket to court, am i going to win since my registration is renewed?

Bring your registration to court, plead not guilty. Explain to the Judge what happened and present your registration to the court as proof.
Your ticket should be dismissed. |

Usually, YES, provided that you can show that your vehicle was registered @ the time the ticket was issued. You'll want to get a replacement sticker ASAP too, and let the judge see that you acquired a new sticker. |

Yes, of course. Take your receipt showing you had paid to renew, and the case will be dismissed. |

I'd call the clerk of courts office. Most likely you can just show your registration to the clerk and the citation would be dismissed. Also report the sticker stolen. |
