Got my first speeding ticket--Please Help?!?

ok i got a speeding ticket today, i was going 20miles over. [i didnt realize how fast i was going]

im a minor [17]
But i have enough money to pay the fine.

My question is-
are my parents going to find out?

[i live in Pennsylvania by the way..if that helps]

Are you on their insurance policy? If so yes-when the premiums go up.

If your parents pay for your car insurance, they WILL find out. Best to "fess up...."

Your best bet is to contact the courts and ask them these questions. They are the ones who will process your ticket and will know all the laws and regulation. You should also ask the courts if you are allowed to take a driving school class. This will prevent your insurance from going up and points from being placed on your license. Just make sure you get the courts permission before doing so. If you donâ€™t the courts will reject your driving school certificate. Good luck!

if you are on the same insureance policy then theyll find out cause the rate goes up my advice is to pay it and if you birthday is soon tell em after or if not tell them a week after you pay or longer
