my boyfriend stole his step dads car.. and he is going to court for grand theft auto. he is 16. so what kind of trouble can he get?

16. Not much. Probation probably. If he has priors, then some jail time and community service. If he had done it one year later he could have been in trouble.

The better point to make is that you need to improve your taste in men. Losers who get busted for grand theft auto at 16 only move one to worse things down the road.
