simple facts:

Vermont...NO gun control laws (can walk in, buy a handgun and carry concealed..no permit needed. vermonet has the LOWEST crime rate, murder rate etc in the US

Washington DC: Strictest gun laws in US. No handgun permits and only select few can own rifles which must be kept DISASSEMBLED in home...yet DC has one of the HIGHEST crime rate in the US

Same story for NJ (Newark, Camden etc) California (LA) Highly restrictive gun laws yet through the roof gun crime and crime in general.

As we can see, how can one state have no laws restricting guns and have essentially no crime? That flies in the face of Gun ban supporters logic!

Yes I do. And if memory serves me right, the statistics support it.
Gun free zones was exercised in all the school and university shootings. As well as in the malls. And the killers knew that.
When Matthew Murray in Colorado started his shooting spree, it ended by him being shot at by an armed citizen. But first 4 people had to die. And Matthew was armed for the long haul.

Gun control doesn't curb the bad people from obtaining weapons. Many of those people are unable to own any kind of firearm because of their record. The obtain those weapons illegally. The only people that the gun laws slow the process down for are those who are law abiding citizens.

The stats support the argument that if you take ban guns or have no gun zones the only people it affects are the law abiders not the law breakers. As London if their crime rate went up or down. As the people in D.C. if their crime rate went up or down. When gun bans are inacted people are easier targets to criminals.

gun control is stupid. Guns are bad, but it will be civilians who turn in their guns. Obviously a criminal wont tell the police he has a gun. The government is being stupid.

If all these gun control worked like the sopnsors and media claimed they would then WASHINGTON D.C. and NEW YORK would be safe you wouldnt have to lock your doors at night and you could walk down the streets without fear of muggers But since gun control only benefits the crinimals then its a real stupid solution
