HELP! what should i expect in court?

I was recently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering for the purposes of engaging in drug-related activity. I am 16 years old and this is my first offense. I've never been in "trouble with the law" before. None of the paraphernalia was mine, and the only reason i was charged was because i was there and one of the other people there did not admit to his paraphernalia. What should i expect in court, and what would my punishment most likely be??? i want to prepare myself.

AMANDA! You need to Hire an Attorney. This is a lot more serious than you may realize. This can haunt you for the rest of your life. We are living in an unjust world. Legal interpretations vary from State to State. You can not be over-prepared. Law officers possess an unfair advantage in courtroom situations. America may still be the home of the brave, but it is not the land of the free. Not as I recall it when I was growing up. I'm soon to be 55 when I was your age drugs were never an issue. Perhaps Society itself should be on trial here and not you.If you are not involved with a local Church community, I advise you to do so. There are Ministers out there who would like to offer you advise. You need to learn to quote Proverbs from your Bible. You also might need to find a Public Defender. Also if you have any chance of postponing your court date that would probably work to your advantage.
I wish I could trade places with you. I've had a lot of good luck and good fortune in court over the years. Focus your time on reading and learning all that you can. Tell the Court with these words. Practice them if you will "YOUR HONOR, I HAVE A PROFOUND SENSE OF KNOWING THE DIFFERENCE OF THAT WHICH IS RIGHT FROM THAT WHICH IS WRONG AND I DO NOT BELIEVE IN TAKING DRUGS THAT ARE NOT PRESCRIBED BY MY DOCTOR".Hopefully these words can turn into magic if spoken at just the right moment.Also, try to let the court know that you are the type of person that believes in that if you truly expect your prayers to be answered then you must make yourself the answer to someone else's prayer.Good Luck and God Bless!
