I am in the process of joining the NSW police in Australia. Yesterday I received a text message on my phone saying "Need a favour. Im in the police station they've charged me with being the ugliest c**t in australia can you come down and show them they've made a mistake" So I wrote bake "Who is this?" and they replied with "Constable jonesy". I then wrote " who is constable jonesy" and they wrote "Smoke me". By this time I had had enough so I wrote "F**k off c**t". Ten minutes later a got a message saying "Mind the language. You don't even know who this is. This was a test conducted by NSW police department. To veiw your public relation skills. You have failed." Can the police really do this or is it just one of my mates pranking me.

I don't know anything about Australias hiring policy for new officers, but Ive never heard an agency using a tech. like this. All inverviews of hiring an individual is conducted in person and usually in front of a panel or hiring board.
If I were you, I'd find my mate that pulled that prank on you and varify that he/she is the ugliest c**t in Australia.

i would think that your mates are pranking you, thats invasion of privacy and you wouldn't have to deal with a citizen in that way, only friends are allowed access to that kind of info, and they wouldn't test your public relation skills on txts, i'd call your boss and ask and save those txts for reference!! |

i live in america aqnd have never heard of this going on w/ the police so it could be just friends ******* w/ ya but you should ask who ever is in charge at the police station your joining and show them the message and ask them |
