I was wondering if anyone has reported a Dangerous Dog to their city they live in? Our neighbors own a large German Shepard, who they have declared as their guard dog (signs on the fence and such), which is fine. Except they walk there guard dog un-leashed in residence areas where there are kids and other animals! I don't see how this woman feels she can control her guard dog without a leash with all the distractions of residential life. He has lunged at small dogs, and barked very loud at anything that moves. To be honest, it's very unnerving and uncomfortable seeing their large guard dog without a leash.
So what do I do now? Do I call Animal Control? The city? I don't want the dog put down or anything, but I would like him to be under more control. Has anyone reported a dog before?

Find out what the leash laws are for your area. The next time you see her walking her dog unleashed call and complain. Maybe after receiving enough tickets she will get the hint. |

just call animal control. i reported a dog in my neighborhood but it was a rottweiler. or just tell your neighbors and maybe they could control their dog. i dont think it will bother anyone since its a german sherphard. those are nice dogs. |

i think you should be reporting to animal control about the dog not being on a leash... almost all cities and towns have leash laws... |
