Nope. In Texas the legislature is probably going to pass a law that gives law abiding citizens more rights when it comes to gun ownership. Even if they banned all guns the criminals do not care about the law and they will still get guns illegally! That is why they are criminals. You need to do a little more research on the subject because you are ignorant about this particular subject! You say educate the gun mentality people? The law abiding citizens that own guns are educated about them that is why they do not have the same views as you do! Arm the people and you no longer need sheep dogs. I say more guns and rights for responsible law abiding gun owners! If you take all of the guns away from law abiding citizens then the government has nothing to fear about making the U.S. a police state. I will keep my guns thank you very much. They can have my guns bullets first and when I am dead! Your mindset on this issue is part of what is putting this once great nation in the crapper!

If anyone employed there that was a law abiding citizen had a permit to carry their gun and had their gun with them, then it could have ended as quickly as it started!

Why? So if this happens again, no one will have a gun to protect themselves? Guns, when used by responsible people, can save someone. Don't ban guns, ban irresponsible gun owners.

No in this day and age a decent law abiding citizen should possess a gun. No matter how many gun laws there are criminals will always find a way to get them. Law abiding people should not be punished for every criminals actions when it involves a gun. We each have a right to defend ourselves and our families if need be.

If someone law-abiding had a gun to defend themselves there, the perp would be dead and pretty much all innocent people would survive. On gun control laws, it's only taking rights away from the law-abiding citizens. You don't see criminals caring about drug, rape, murder laws, etc., right? So I'm sure they wouldn't care about a new gun law.
