im reading questions like this, im kind of worried, today i stole a pack of condoms (im 13 and to nervous to buy them) scar cream (15 freakin dollars) and a magnum sharpie(lol) and alot of these answers are saying they got past the censor but they got caught by cameras. how often do they check the cameras, i was pretty sure they didnt check them 24/7 so if they dont have a reason to check them they wont right? i understand if something happens like the censors go off they will go back and look at the cameras but they wont if you get away and walk out of the store without being caught right?
please dont say im to young to be getting condoms i know. lol but who doesnt have condoms at 13 come on its 2008 now. lol

man im stupid i just remembered i went in the bathroom with them and took them out of the package and left it behind the toilet, if they go in there will they find out it was me?

yeah i have been caught shoplifting b4---i been in and out of prison most of my life..so lemme tell you in most states if you get out of a store with the merchandise you pretty much gonna be okay(unless the merchandise exceeds 300$ then in my state of kentucky thats a felony and they will issue a warrent for your arrest,but someone in the store would have to already kno you...but dont let this incourage you to shoplift because the concequences for getting caught are really more trouble than it's worth |

no I'm way too skilled to ever get caught. I steal stuff from the store by my school almost every day. (shhh..)
Um, it depnds on the store. I dont think they look at the cameras too closely unless they are actually aware something it missing and care enough to find out who did it. For little things like that I doubt they will.
But its not like they are going to hunt you down for it, they dont know anything about you. If you really wanna be safe just dont go back to that store for about a month.
But basically for small things, if you can get outta the store with it and out of the area without being caught in the act, youre good.

I know plenty of 13 years who do not buy condoms. they are the ones with brains. Its people like you that make retailers mark up prices and no..i have never stolen anything. I am an honest person. |

No. Don't worry about it. They aren't going to come after you for a few dollars, even if they did suspect that they saw something on the cameras. I think legally they have to stop you on the property and you have to be in possession of the stolen goods. HOWEVER, I would not return to that store and steal from there again, as someone there might have a clue, and might watch you much more carefully next time.
Honestly, if I were you, instead of stealing, I would just go to one of those stores where they have self-checkers. Then you don't have to worry as much about someone seeing you, and you won't have to be paranoid about all the potential ramifications that could occur if you got caught stealing.

yes i got caught once when i was a teenager, it was so embarrasing, it was the first and last time I ever tried to steal lol. But if you made it out the door without getting caught you are probably fine, but seriously I would not push your luck because sooner or later you will get caught. |
