Have you ever stole anything?

Cold Hard Fact
In all of my life, I have stolen only one thing- A Big Blue Ball

When I was in high school, I was picking up a friend and I looked into his neighbors yard and saw a Huge, Rubber, Inflatable Blue Ball. This thing was ENORMOUS, like 4 feet across!

I ran over to it, picked it up with both hands and scurried back to my pick-up truck. I squeezed the ball through the window. I had to really squeeze it to make it fit.

My buddy was holding the ball in the passenger seat as we drove away, when I saw the car of another friend, Adam, coming towards me in the opposite lane.

I said to my buddy, "Hold the wheel and give me the ball!"

Right before Adam's car got to us, I shoved the big blue ball out of my window.

TTTTTHHHHHWWWWWAAAAACCCCCKKKKK!!!!!

The ball smashed against the front of his car!

The next day I saw Adam at school and I said, "Hey, what did you think about the Big Blue Ball that I threw at your car yesterday?"

He looked at me with a blank expression, and then I saw a twinkle in his eye, as if he had just realized something.

He said, "Yesterday, I was letting somebody test drive my car. When they got back they said to me, 'You are not going to believe what happened! We were driving down the road and then this Big Blue Ball bounced out of a truck and slammed into the car!'"

Obviously, the car was fine and we got a great laugh out of it.

After that, I decided that if I ever stole anything again, the story would probably not top that one, so I never did it again.

evly's Puppies need freeing.
I did when i was little, nothing big, just a bar of chocolate when my dad was buying me one already. When he found out he marched me bak into the shop to hand it bak over, but the shop owner was so nice he told me to keep it.
But my dad insisted on paying for it....
I was grounded for months, never will or would do it again........x

Yes, when I was about 12 I stole a lock from a hardware store, just to see if I could do it. I was sweating and nauseous, but I got away with it.

I wish I hadn't done it, but I guess it was a stupid macho thing.

Yeah, I stole a bag of honey thickened water that was expired from my job at a nursing home kitchen.
Then I shot it.

Yes. As a kid, and as an immature young man, I did steal some things.

However, when I matured, I not only do not steal things, I go out of my way to correct mistakes in my favor. If a restaurant bill missed some ordered items, I bring it to the attention of the server to correct. If I'm given too much change by a cashier, I immediately return it. I had a lawn service forget to bill me, so I had to call them to tell them they'd forgotten to bill me. (The saddest thing about this call was the shock and surprise of the guy that someone would do this - it's a condemning testimony about the world today, isn't it?).

Theft isn't just when you actively take something that doesn't belong to you, it also encompasses when you allow yourself to profit from the accidental mistakes of others, at a cost to them.
