I was not there and earlier in the evening when he was drinking I asked him not to drive and to call me to pick him up, he is 29 years old and is not my responsibility, he blames me and there is nothing I can say. He even makes me feel bad and overdosed 3 times in the past few month

Where is the blame..... you said that you would come get him. Plus he is old enough to know not to drive.
What an idiot. It is one thing to get a DUI but to add all sorts of other potential charges? Either way the judge is going to be giving him the max on the DUI. He will be in jail for quite some time. |

I can't imagine how that could even be remotely your fault. The man is 29 years old. He is a grown man, whether he chooses to act that way or not.
It may do him good to go to jail for a while. I think the best thing would be for you to not do him anymore favors and tell him to get some help. Because blaming you for his problems sure isn't going to get him anywhere.
