I was caught stealing twice from H&M. The first time they let me off the hook with a warning but they wrote down all my information so they could have it on their records. Then today i was caught again for stealing from the same store almost a year later, and i lied to the police and said this was my first offence. They never called it in to the police station so they had no idea i lied. So they were nice to me and let me off with a warning. But IM RLLY worried they are going to check me up when they get to the police station and know that i lied, then come to my house and arrest me. Has this ever happened to anyone?? has anyone every lied about it being their first offence with shoplifting? please if anyone can help!!

It is quite possible they will check the records.
It doesn't take an officer long to realize a thief is prone to lying. |

Why did you steal? Is it because you don't have a lot of money? If so, there is financial aid for people who have financial problems. Just, don't still again. You should of been thankful that they had let you off the hook the first time. |

They might check and they might not.
In the future just don't lie to the police for any reason and stop shoplifting. Everyone gets caught eventually. I promise. |

Its possible that they will record this down again and your name could come up again for shoplifting. However, I don't know your chances for getting arrested. I doubt it though. |
