Help, I don't want to be a criminal?! :(?

Ok. They sent something saying warrant for arrest issued because of unpaid ticket. So do I pay the ticket, or now I have to pay bail AND ticket? Im confused about this because I was never stupid enough to NOT pay a ticket, but this time I didn't really have that much money to go towards it.

Ok Thanx :)
I waited to pay it because I thought I could get more time without anything big happening. Dumb, yes.

if the police pulls you over you will most likely be arrested. make sure you pay the ticket and the warrant will be clear. it doesnt mean they'll come to your house and arrest you. you just need to pay the ticket and you'll be fine it only applies if you are driving and you are pulled over

Pay the ticket!!! I think it means they will arrest you if they catch you...especially doing something else wrong.
Or they might come to your house and take you to court.

Either way make sure to pay the darn thing.

Go pay the ticket and the court costs and you should be fine.

eldude
call the courthouse about it and ask them, they will help you, they will not come to arrest you at your house or your job over a traffic ticket, usually so, don't worry so much about that but you should definitely call the courthouse and ask them for direction.

just pay the ticket! a warrant just means that next time you do something bad with the law.. you willl be arrested. so dont do anything bad.. i think the warrant goes away after you pay the ticket

get off of answers and go pay your ticket!!!
im sure you'll be fine!!!
just explain to them your situation!
good luck....

Just go to the courthouse and tell them you want to take care of it, they will set a time and date for you to go to court. When I went to court there were several people who had missed the day they were supposed to come, all of them were called up together to face the judge, nothing bad happened, they didn't go to jail etc.

ducky
see the judge
beg for mercy - that often works in bringing your fine down.

wowaddict
you should be fine if you just go and pay the ticket. If they have to come and get you then yeah maybe you will have to pay the costs. Why did you wait so long to pay that they issued a warrant?

if you pay the ticket you will be fine. they send those to everyone

Just go to the court and see if you can talk to someone about it maybe the district attorney and 99% of the time they will work a payment plan or something else to help you out. They are pretty helpfull when it comes to people with clean records.

phone them up and say that u want to pay the ticket and it should be a further fine after that to pay for paying late.

but im not too sure it depends how much the fine is and what it is for.

good luck with it all though

just remember you can never escape from a warrant so tbh theres no point trying

First of all if you have never been in trouble you won't have to pay bail, unless you have a really mean judge. Then you need to make a payment arrangement.

OnceWasPoor
Don't try to hide from the police, they know where you live and work. Its best to call and ask them what you're options are.

Bail is only charged when you are a flight risk. I don't think you would be considered a flight risk for an unpaid parking ticket. Go to court and pay the ticket.

Sounds like you're kind of screwed. Hey that's life and we'll look back and laugh on it a year from now when you have a criminal record. LOL! Shouldn't have gotten the ticket.

agent of chaos
Go see the judge and pay what you can, mostplaces will work with you. Since you already have a warrant, you best get in there right away.

Just pay the ticket and it's over, there not gonna have a nationwide manhunt for you. But if you don't pay the ticket and you are pulled over driving again, they can arrest you. So just send them the money and its done

You should've asked for a continuance. Now it's going to cost more. Pay the fines
