There was a robbery incident, They arrested everyone at the place until they found out what was going on & who commited it.
I was arrested and brought down to the police station for questioning then released due to i was inocent. No charges,No finger prints,Never put in a jail cell,No booking. They just sat me down in a table and ask me to write what happend and was then released. Then i get a letter that i had to go to court to testify as a "witness" against the person that commited the robery,I went to court but they dint call me to talk because the victim identified the person and he was immediatly charged and is now in custody. Everything is done now but my question is..
Will my record be ruin? Will i have a arrest record althought i never went to jail or charged since i was inocent? My record is so important to me i would be devastated if it ruin my record as i was inocent. I have studied so much & i'm working so hard to get my degree to be able to apply for a gomervent job, Now i dont know if i can even apply. Will it show up in a FAA /Airline employment background check? Thank You!

You were probably not arrested at all, but rather detained. That's much different. |

since you wasn't charged it will NOT be on your record
they just held you for questioning which they can do |

Hello,
Due to the fact that you weren't fingerprinted, or booked, you should have no worries about your record. Because you were brought in and questioned, you were found 'not guilty', but also thought of as a valuable asset to finding out the true 'guilty party'.
All in all, your record will not be affected

They just took you in for questioning...
